In another series of events, a Glen View man sustained injuries on Tuesday night after being allegedly thrown from the third floor by a hook_er following a misunderstanding over payment for services rendered.
The shocking incident occurred at Dana Place in the Avenues area, where a man only identified as Mandewo sustained head, back and leg injuries before being rushed off to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
Speaking to H-metro, Mandewo said that a lady known as Trish and resides in room 17 wrestled him after he refused to disclose his Ecocash details.
He went on to say that they agreed on a $5 fee when they hooked up on the streets but she later shifted goalposts.
“I hooked up with her on the street and we agreed on $5 but she demanded $100 afterwards,” he said
He offered to add $10 but she insisted on $100 while forcing him to disclose his Ecocash details.
“I was prepared to add $10 but she kept on demanding my Ecocash details and when I refused she wrestled me together with her mate and threw me through the window
She took my car keys and I would want to believe she has gone and searched the vehicle or disappeared with the car,” he said writhing in pain
A witness at Dana Place heard Mandewo calling for help but could not give him a hand on time.
“We heard him calling for help and we saw him hanging by the window and fell down as we tried to rush to the room
The lady he was with ran away” she said
Mandewo did not seem keen to have a relative help him to the hospital insisting on those present to help him secure the car.
