Mashura Man Wakes Up In Mortuary After Being Pronounced Dead

By a stroke of luck or a miracle, a Mabvuku man regained consciousness after his body was tagged for the mortuary, after he had been pronounced dead.

Mike Nyandoro was pronounced dead, upon arrival at the hospital after he had been found unconscious lying in a pool of blood.

Taurai Rutsito from Mabvuku appeared before the court yesterday for allegedly stabbing Nyandoro with an empty beer bottle outside Hurudza Bar in New Tafara, following a misunderstanding over a cigarette.

According to a report given by the H-Metro, Taurai Rutsito pleaded guilty when he appeared before Magistrate Morgan Nemadire charged with attempted murder.

The state prosecutor told the court that on September 29, Nyandoro, was about to go home, when he met Rutsito standing outside the bar holding an empty beer bottle. The accused is said to have turned violent, breaking a beer bottle and stabbing Nyandoro on the neck after he had been denied a cigarette.

After being stabbed, Nyandoro tried to run back to the bar but was tripped by Rutsito, who left him for dead, lying unconscious on the ground.

Rutsito was arrested and taken to the Mabvuku police station for questioning after he had been overheard saying that he had stabbed someone and was suspecting that the person may have died.
